What to expect
A typical day for a six month old is very different from a 4 year old, however this outline below will give you an idea of the kind of activities your child will take part in at Craighead Country Nursery School.
When children feel emotionally safe and secure they are able to explore and find out about the world around them. This shows us the importance of ensuring all children are happy, settled and secure. Children are welcomed into the room and settled in, wherever they feel most comfortable. Daily room routines will help your child become secure and confident in the room. Staff spend time building up positive relationships with your child and really getting to know them. They use observations of your child's learning in order to plan further learning experiences. Each child has a family book which records all their achievements and acts as their own personal learning plan. This ensures each child reaches their full potential and are challenged in their learning.
